It is still fresh in our memory that the brand released a soft and supple cowhide coach jacket, inspired by coach jackets from the 1970s and made from kip leather, a fine calfskin material. Kip leather is cowhide from cows aged between 6 months and 2 years. Kip leather is a rare, high-quality leather with a beautiful, fine grain and robust silver surface. We have developed "oiled kip leather" by adding oil to the kip leather and beating it with a drum to further increase its durability and robustness, and have created a new coach jacket using this leather. The drape and aging created by the lines of this coach jacket made of cowhide leather opens up new possibilities for clothing. By thinning the kip leather down to 0.6mm, we were able to achieve the most "coach jacket"-like feel possible with cowhide. Oiled kip leather is a robust leather that is durable despite its thinness. The thickness of the leather and precise stitching made possible by using kid leather, which has a thin silver surface on the outside, have resulted in a one-of-a-kind coach jacket. The details are typical of a coach jacket, with dot buttons, drawstrings, elastic ribbing, and chamois cross flannel cotton lining. The dot buttons are brass buttons with TENJIN original markings. The drawstring is a 3mm thick leather round cord, and the lining is made of thick all-cotton flannel. No compromises are made with any of the materials. The small collar has a stand collar with a chin strap, and the old-fashioned details are fresh and a nice accent. The cuffs are excellently designed with a combination of flaps and jerseys, allowing you to enjoy a variety of silhouettes by fastening or opening them. The drawstring at the hem allows you to enjoy changing the silhouette. The pattern combines traditional set-in sleeves with various organic cutting lines, and the fit when worn and the beautiful lines it creates will captivate the owner.
