In order to modify an 80s British riding jacket using all-tanned leather, we meticulously focused on every aspect from materials and details to silhouette, creating a completely new leather jacket. This model is named "MODALE." We named it as a homage to BEDALE. Together with Lightning Mohican Ogawa, an expert in leather jackets, we exchanged numerous opinions and ideas to create the best jacket, expanding our vision in the process. In our discussions, based on the original British jacket and the works our company has released so far, we developed a new original leather to recreate the texture of this oiled cotton in leather form. This original leather is based on the recently popular "oiled kip leather" from Tenjin Works. We polished the grain surface to achieve a matte texture and infused it with twice the amount of oil compared to oiled kip leather. We meticulously studied the coarseness of the sanding paper and repeatedly adjusted the amount of oil to achieve the ideal texture. While maintaining the timeless appeal of this British riding jacket, which has long been favored by many fans, we pursued an original pattern. Pursuing a beautiful shape, we ensured that every detail is flawlessly designed to match the materials, resulting in a finely crafted jacket.
